ABOUT US
The tradition began in 1991 when Brothers Carlo and Antonio Giovannini opened Trattoria La Strada, utilizing their collective knowledge of running exclusive fine dining restaurants. They combined fifty years of experience to design an elegant and upscale interior and to develop an authentic Tuscan restaurant. Trattoria La Strada has, since its origin been identified as the finest authentic Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp District of San Diego.

Trattoria La Strada is labeled best of the best for Italian restaurants, categorizing us as one of the top ten restaurants in the United States as well as San Diego Downtown News silver medal for "Best Italian."
